If Wilson's surgery is negatively affecting his game, I think the coaches would know about it long before the Utah game and make whatever adjustments are needed even that means sidelining him. This is a game BYU needs to win for a variety of reasons, one of which is the job security of the coaching staff. Having said that, I think Wilson will be fine and ready to go in that game. If we lose that game, I don't think it will be because of him.

On a side note, I might be more optimistic about our kicking game than you are but I think BYU for the first time in a long time will have the better FG kicker and perhaps even the better punter. Our kicker might not be Gay but neither will theirs.
