This is a different era than 72-74 and Edward's predecessor wasn't very good
If they start 1-4 and then lose to Boise State and USU, they would need a win against SDSU in the last game of the year to go to a bowl.
I hope they can somehow find their mojo and start 2-3 or 3-2, so that they have some wiggle room later in the season to still make a bowl. Wilson looked great at the end of the season and stellar QB play covers a multitude of sins.
