Nope. They’re trying to get rid of Baynes. How gutsy!
Again. Ainge will only make a deal if it is a total no brainer. No guts to take a risk. And as such, they will wallow in mediocrity.
You can explain away why they don’t make real offers for these superstars. And they’re not bad reasons. But when push comes to shove, Bos didn’t get better when they could’ve got PG (OKC did, and was able to keep him). They didn’t get better by passing on Kawhi (TOR did, and is favored to keep him). They didn’t get better by passing on AD
