My paycheck goes into one account and my wife uses that to pay all the bills except the mortgage. She then uses the remainder for household expenses and personal stuff. Her paycheck goes to another account and the mortgage comes out of that. The remainder I use to pay tithing and other expenses that I incur. We both have access to the other's account, but generally don't cross over unless needed and with the knowledge of the spouse.
