Of course it’s a big deal.
The real question is:
How does BYU and those in a position of influence with Pau’u help him find a path that minimizes the probability of this ever happening again?
People can point fingers, be judgmental and vindictive or can look at ways to help him change his behavior.
There absolutely needs to be consequences but hopefully consequences that facilitate/encourage behavioral change.
