BYU TV times might be ok in the west but they are terrible in the east
And that’s where most people/ media live. No one is staying up for games that start at 10:30 on a Friday night. That’s also why no one watches PAC 12. A move to AAC would probably increase visibility because their schedule would be more east coast friendly.
Also, most of their recent schedules are already full of AAC or MWC type of teams. They can play 8 conference games plus 2 to 3 power 5 teams and their SOS would be very similar to their current schedules.
