A child tries repeatedly to stack objects that can't possibly balance.

Is the child insane? What if he spends a whole day trying to get it to work? What if he comes back to it regularly for weeks? Should he be hospitalized for insanity? Does he need to take meds? If he committed a crime, could he be declared not guilty by reason of insanity?

Insanity is very different from trying the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
