strategy. Both had practice tests that explained why each answer was wrong or tricky or correct. I had my kids take about 8 timed practice ACT tests. After I graded them, I had them go over the ones they got wrong, and come to me with any explanations that they didn't understand or that they disagreed with. Three of my kids took the June ACT, and they just got their scores back, and all of them had improved dramatically over their first practice test score-- one by 5 points, one by 6 points, and one by 12 points.
