I mean - I don't think there are any merit badges or advancement requirements that say you have to build a canoe and take it on the river 67 miles.

I suspect there will still be YM activities that are considered high adventure. And I suspect there will still be idiot YM leaders who make bad decisions and/or are unprepared for the activity or conditions. But next summer when we see a headline like this, it just won't say "scouts group" in it. It will say "church group" instead.
