I highly doubt that. There is a ton of parity in CFB. There is even more parity between Utah, BYU and Utah State. Utah has more depth than BYU, which is a direct benefit of P5 status. But the 1s and maybe some 2s are roughly on par with each other. Utah State is still slightly behind BYU in both skill among the 1s and depth, but they are closing the gap. Utah should have been much better in the game last year than they showed because of their depth. BYU should have had the problems it had because of lack of depth.
