I agree with both of you, on certain points, but disagree with others.
I'm not TOO worried about Utah's OL... despite the fact that Phil Steele doesn't even have them ranked, but that's mainly because I have quite a bit of faith in Jim Harding. He's a very good coach, and when our starters on the O-line (especially center) have been injured, he's been good and finding adequate replacements.

I think we have some solid dudes to fill out the OL, but even with the returning starters, and the JUCO guys, the fact remains- they have never played together. The OL is the position group which requires the most coordination/synergy. And THAT is very difficult to obtain during practice scenarios. The only real way to develop an OL is by playing in actual games. During Garrett Bolles first game, (I think) the OL was a joke. Fortunately, vs. Southern Utah, it wasn't a huge problem, and by Week 3 or 4, they had it pretty well figured out. (Bolles still had a false start penalty, or unnecessary roughness call against him every game, but he was worth it.) BYU is significantly better than any team we've played Week 1, (aside from Michigan, 2015) in a long time.

I think the OL for Utah will eventually be serviceable. But the first few weeks could be dodgy.
