Update: I've received two quotes from local collision repair shops. One is for $2100 and one for $1700. I received a call from the driver's parent's homeowners insurance today. The insurance company is opening and investigation and has requested photos of the damage and they asked me a bunch of questions.
Previous Update: (7/5/19) I just got home and looked at the damage to driver's side front of my minivan. The damage is extensive: a piece of the grill is gone, there is red paint (my van is grey) on the bumper, the minivan paint is scratched and peeled away so you can see the bumper underneath, there's some part hanging down making a scratching sound when we drive it, there's a hole in the bumper itself, part of the bumper is dislodged from the body of the van. I think we're realistically looking at $1300 in damages. It's really bad.
