It works to cut grocery bag use, but does it work to save the envirnoment?
Have you done the research to see how many time you need to reuse a reusable to bag to break even on pollution? Or cost? Manufacturing of reusables is more costly and more polluting.

Do you now buy other bags or materials for trash can liners or dog poop cleaning that you would have used the grocery bags for?

By the way, stats show that the purchase of other bags has spiked in places where grocery bags aren't free, bags that are thicker and take pollute more to manufacture and require more landfill space when tossed.
