It seemed like he was making every tackle, at least in the 2nd half. It’ll be nice that he’s not around. Surprisingly I don’t remember Yewtah’s DL being as disruptive as normal last year, but I don’t think they blitzed as much......not sure why.
All this said, on paper id definitely give utah’s Dline the big edge in that matchup since they have some really good players and a history of dominating byu’s OL.
Byu’s oL is improving but last year did not demonstrate good consistency against good P5 defenses. Having a qb, wr, and rb play at a higher level helps and we haven’t had consistency there either. The whole offense is a work in progress. Let’s hope they pass at a higher level.
