hurt?"
Why would a conversation about business even affect my mood.
Your points are just "not smart".
Yes, lots of people use Twitter, to spread a variety of messages, promotions, advertisements, etc.
You know what else? Every single person, company, organization that signs up for a Twitter account agrees to abide by the "terms and conditions" of the company.
DS didn't have his Twitter account suspended for posting any political/religious comments. He had it suspended for breaking the rules- promoting or inciting violence.
• Jabib Al-Jazrawi, a member of ISIS had his account suspended for the same reason.
• George Zimmerman- the guy who shot Trayvon Martin- had his account suspended for posting revenge porn.
• Tila Tequila was banned on Twitter for posting Nazi propaganda.
• Milo Yiannopoulos was banned for making vulgar, racist, harassing tweets about Leslie Jones.
Etc, etc, etc...
Twitter is a billion dollar business, with stock publicly traded, on the S&P 500.
...and YOU think that they should be forced to provide a public platform to terrorists, Nazis, racists, and people who send revenge porn- even when those people violate their rules.
...for free?
Good one!
You seem not to understand free speech.
The first ammendment means that you can say (almost) anything you want- and the government isn't going to come and arrest you.
It *does not* mean that you say whatever you want... without consequences.
• You can be fired.
• You can be sued.
• You can be ostracised.
• You can be banned from using social media platforms. Especially if you break the rules.
