it was just either too hot or too dry. When we would try to find water to go play in the options for lakes were kind of gross or too far away. I did enjoy some hikes getting up into the canyons and tubing the provo river. I enjoyed 7 peaks/lagoon/trafalga kind of stuff...theres tons of stuff for young families. But i hated that if i wanted to go for a nice jog i felt like i had to do so very early in the morning or late at night. Contrast that with where i live now and theres no question summer is heaven up here and the best season in the pacific northwest. I want to be outside all the time. I jog/walk/hike any time of the day and its comfortable.
