me to a sleep test. When I woke up, the doctor there said I slept fine but he wanted me to try a cpap anyway and it was probably just a coincidence that I slept fine. So, he wanted to reschedule another night for a sleep test. Fortunately, our insurance covered everything (including the cpap) so I went along with it because I was desperate to get a good rest.
Got the CPAP and couldn't sleep at all. It was completely miserable. Went back to the sleep center and had another fine night of sleeping. He said it was probably just another coincidence and told me to keep using my cpap.
Turns out it had nothing to do with sleep apnea at all.
But I felt like I was seeing a doctor with the analogy of "if the only tool you have is a hammer, pretty soon everything starts looking like a nail."
