Due to the hiring of an agent and getting very close to leaving, BYU just released to the NCAA the process Childs went through to come back to school one more year. NCAA has decided to possibly punish Childs for the first 9 games, but wouldn't see any other consequence. Don't know all that occurred, but confusing since college students were just given freedom to declare for the draft, back out, and still play with zero penalty. Wonder why NCAA is doing this to BYU.
