I always get a kick out of reading the amazon reviews of chrome books in which about half the buyers rate them very poorly because they don’t have Microsoft Word and “have to be connected to WiFi to be of any use”!
That’s what a chrome book is. That’s why they’re only $200-$400. They’re not supposed to be competing with nice laptop computers. It’s a brilliant product IMO. They’re great for about 99% of what most people use their laptops for. If you’re in the 1% of people who either don’t have WiFi or need high power computing, then buy a proper computer.
