Alpine, but I'll play devils advocate. There are some really nice neighborhoods

up above Timpview, and you'll be way way closer to civilization i.e. Target, grocery stores, movie theaters, gas stations that are open past 9 pm, etc .... Having lived in Alpine it was a huge pain to get things done sometimes just because you have to drive so far to get to anything although its getting better.
