I grew up in Alpine, graduated from Lone Peak in 2001 and I

absolutely loved growing up there. It was the best place for a kid to grow up. Small town feel, mountains to in hike, hunt, and fish. Sports teams growing up were always competative and faired well in State and National tournaments. Alpine back then was amazing, but I have to be honest and say I now would never move back there, especially with kids. The atmosphere has totally changed, it is a "keeping up with the Jonses" mentality and if you don't have money you are looked down on as second class citizens. The money, mansions, and attidutes of the many "new" residents has resulted in a lot of long time Alpine families moving to neighboring communities.
