Any Utah fan should know that a ton of the success Utah's DEs and pass
rush have seen, starts with everyone else on the DL. One guy really racks it up because the other 3 are dangerous. It starts with a strong interior and Utah always has that. It makes things a ton easier for the DEs.
BYU has been trying to build that up inside but has lacked depth and often a 2nd guy. This year you've got a much improved Tonga and a much improved Fauatea.
It might not spell out elite pass rush, but that's not a requirement for success. They have the guys to improve it overall, even with Corbin gone. Corbin is also a good example showing anything can happen with these guys. Nobody expected 6'9 Corbin to end up with more sacks in a year than the beloved Bradlee Anae. But he did.
Talent hasn't been lacking. Health has been lacking. Dawe and Leiataua can be difference makers if they're actually healthy and in shape. Something that hasn't happened much yet for them.
