A few years ago, I spent many Saturdays at an acting studio in North Hollywood
(my son was taking classes). I've seen some young aspiring actors be trained. Many don't fake the emotions. They learn to tap into their real emotions and bring them to the surface during a performance.

Thus, I take a little exception to not trusting actors because they know how to "fake" emotions.

When talking about something personal, I have little doubt the emotions are real. Are actors better at letting the emotions surface? Sure. But they're usually real.
