Especially for this season. Practice has been closed, no one really knows how Utah is doing in scrimmages/etc. All local media is doing is reporting what Kyle has said. Local media has NEVER predicted Utah to win the Pac12. This season is different, and it really isn’t local media that is driving the hype, the national pundits/publications are the ones predicting big things for Utah football.

Season will be here soon enough...the bar is set high with the NATIONAL expectations, but it’s great that Utah is in the national conversation. It’s a fun time to be a Utah fan.
