How long of a sample size do you want to give someone?
Me I am not interested in breaking even or less year after year to give a coach a sample size to determine if he is good or not.
I realize that is exactly what BYU will do, Bronco had 2 years of 500 and then all above with the worst at 8-5. And I am not a Bronco homer, I was super excited for KS.
But I am willing to take a risk to get someone that can do better rather then staying with a 500 record year after year.
