The Marines practice pull-ups because it’s part of their testing. As for the other branches, not so much.

I don’t know why people are getting riled up about this. I’m not saying that there aren’t people who do pull-ups. I’m saying that there is no way that 40% of a particular demographic like cougarboard does pull-ups. Especially considering that 40% of people that work out regularly don’t perform pull-ups. It’s just truth.
