North Dakota, Rhode Island, Mississippi and New Mexico.
ND-- too cold and desolate.
RI-- too small, provincial and not special.
Mississippi-- hot and muggy. Lots of racial conflict.
NM--lousy economy and other than Taos and Santa Fe, not much of a state.
None of our states are horrible from a geographic standpoint. It's the culture, people and laws that makes some of them lousy.
