I've never been to Mississippi, but my wife served there
This summer we drove through Alabama (From Atlanta to Destin, FL) and she kept commenting on how much nicer it was than Mississippi. I was hoping it would be similar because I've been curious what her experience was like, but she said it didn't even compare. Take that for what it's worth when comparing the 2.
