in the QB depth chart if they did not believe he could pass like an NFL QB just because they want him to throw a few passes each year and run wildcat. This argument is silly.

Right now he can probably pass better than Wilson by a lot even if Wilson has more potential as a passer. Taysom has been practicing against the speed of NFL secondary and DL lines and connecting with the speed of NFL WRs, RBs and Tight ends, going back to college would feel like playing kiddy ball. He would feel like he has all day to hit guys who are moving much slower against secondaries that are giving much bigger windows. He would dominate them.

That doesn't even factor in his physical prowess after NFL weight room and drills, the level of football knowledge he has from studying film for 3x the amount of time as he spent in college, and his ability to basically run hurry up offense at all times since the NFL clock is much faster. No doubt there are other reasons too. I'm taking any multi year NFL QB over nearly almost any college QB.
