Update: Technician came and didn’t detect anything dangerous. Recommended
Changing out all batteries and monitoring the detectors. Annoying experience. But my wife and I are very grateful my children and home are safe. Tell people you love them!

Yes. Sometimes just leaving the door to the garage open sets off the alarms

Nest Protect alarms will tell you which alarm has been set off and why through speakers in the alarm itself.
