How are they different? Both don't have the original lead singer, but do have
original members in the band. Both now have lead singers that sound almost exactly like the original singer.
I saw Foreigner a few years back with Kelly Hansen, and he sounds just like Lou Gramm, just like Arnel Pineda sounds just like Steve Perry. They're not Lou and Steve, but dang close.
(in the case of Wang Chung, the new guy doesn't sound much like Jack Hues, and the contribution of the original member remaining isn't much)

Saw the Eagles five years ago at Tahoe. Outdoor summer concert at Harvey’s and they sounded awesome.
