Is fantastic.... I still think it’s one of the most over rated ‘Mormon’ activities to do. In reality most kids who take piano lessons don’t amount to much in the musical department.... but LDS parents really really like to push it. It’s almost got Eagle Scout status among Mormon moms.

We sang without a piano/organ at church for most of my mission because no one knew how to play.

My first ward on my mission, I would frequently play during Sacrament Meeting. It was a useful skill.

We used CDs it was pretty lame, always made a huge difference when there was someone who could play
