1. Brussel sprouts. My wife was steaming some of these this morning. From my olefactorial perspective, they made the house smell like sewage (and to me, they taste like wet dish rags). Like cilantro, I think this is a food that people are genetically predisposed to either love or hate.
2. Cottage cheese. The consistency of this food has always bothered me (just a bit too much like maggots).
3. Anything seasoned with curry. In British Columbia, where I served my mission, we often encountered Sikhs. They typically didn't use deodorant and seasoned virtually everything they ate with curry. Given the close resemblance between the two smells, anytime I'm around food seasoned with curry, I feel as if I'm way too close to something that might have been under the armpit of someone who hasn't showered for a really long time.
