I did notice that right before he went down he wrapped the ball with both arms. Maybe that is more what he's intending to say - that he saw the screen, saw the clock, knew he was going down, and did it.

Honestly - I don't care either way at that juncture. I'm super glad he didn't go down right after the catch and was able to avoid tacklers long enough to make the run he did. And it's probably a good thing Bushman didn't try to block, because he was chasing defenders from behind and BYU would've lost a TON of yardage on the ensuing penalty when they moved it back 10 yards from the spot of the foul.

It was a great play. Period.
