Ultimately these football players are entertainers. If it's not entertaining then fans don't get into it. I go to about 1 or 2 games a year, and it seems like they average about 14 points the last few years I've gone. Not very entertaining for most. I start out loud, but that long without anything exciting takes a toll on my enthusiasm.
