if they haven't already. More kids are only getting into BYU-I, and of those that get into BYU an increasing number are choosing BYU-I to be with their friends. Of my class (2006) probably 60% of kids that went on to college went to BYU, with 30% going to BYU-I and the rest going to state schools, community colleges, or other prestigious national schools. My brother's class (2016) is the opposite, with only a few kids going to BYU and vast majority going to BYU-I.
