One of the best meals I ever was steak in Roppongi
16oz Kobe strip steak in one of the original Japanese Steakhouses. That steak literally melted in your mouth.
With the prices of Kobe here in the states, if you really want to taste authentic Kobe beef, I would recommend a plane ticket.
