There was also the Oregon State upset in 2009 where usc was #1
It was also the year the cougs beat Ore St in the windy LV Bowl...
I’m pretty sure usc was ranked #1 when they lost to Stanford too.
Point being: USC is acting like this is such a horrible loss because it’s byu but it feels like they are more just trying to diss byu than anything or exaggerate it to put more heat on the HC. Tennessee fans were much more classy in their loss to BYU. If we ever get to USC/Tennessee levels....let’s be like Tennessee.
