They need to get the physics department to have seats all in one vertical slice
and they can be in charge of many types of wave.
Normal wave... two simultaneous waves... a standing wave... waves timed so that if each person stands / sits down at the proper cadence the entire stadium is filled with N waves circling the stadium...
a single wave is just too easy
