We lived near there, so we went there frequently and really enjoyed it.

Also, if you like Cajun food, I loved The Jazz. There are several locations, including right downtown by KU med. I still crave the gumbo. Absolutely loved it. Lots of good things on the menu. The owner was in my ward and I was his hometeacher. His wife is Catholic and didn't want us coming to the house, so hometeaching each month was going to lunch at the Jazz and eating lunch with him. He picked up the tab, but we always provided the tip. I can tell you, that I always did my hometeaching, and if my partner couldn't go, guys were lined up to go with me.
