Did you expect UW to decline the Orange Bowl invite? forgo 8x the payout? Duck a matchup with #2 ranked Oklahoma who in their last two games had beaten the #1 and #3 ranked teams nationally and play the WAC champion instead? Really? Even if UW had beaten BYU by 20+ points the voters would have penalized them for avoiding Oklahoma. UW's best shot at the Natty was beating Oklahoma. BYU won the Natty. Savor it. But, let's be real.
While were on the topic how did you like the 35-7 beatdown last year? Class out the window. you're in for another whipping, son.
