So the loud, obnoxious, drunken, white trash perception that BYU fans try to create, doesn't square up. And just about every fan base — perhaps, except BYU — has that.

That said, I empathize with the annoying side of the "Utah" fanbase. To most of us, those are your anti-mormon, black sheep, hate the church guys who have nothing to do with the school — just a huge, personal beef with the church culture.

That group is almost everywhere you go, wherever the church is.
