They all should have been given the same learning curve that Kalani's been given.
I don't disagree with the separation but it was mismanaged and there was a gross lack of acknowledgment of what Ty meant to byu football and the university when it happened. Kalani and Byu should have handled it differently/better.
If you don't think Ty is special (and should be treated as such) then you never saw him play or met him.
If anyone was to be given a long leash it was Ty. It's been discussed on multiple occasions the challenges that the offense faced in 2017, mostly due to injury's and team conditioning. IMO these were prevalent team issues exhibited on both sides of the ball, but Ty was scapegoated for the teams lack of performance which was Kalani's responsibility, not Ty's.
