I imagine, in today's landscape of CFB and given our current level of performance, that being in a G5 now would feel very similar. Complain about the "high school stadiums" that are half full... but still finish 3rd in the conference most years.
But unlike Gonzaga killing it in the tourney most years to give the conference credibility... our flag bearer would be claiming fake natties
