We don't have enough. People go crazy over it.
People want local honey, and fresh honey is really tasty. We have to ration it among our friends.

What do you farm that needs bees? $50 per colony is a pretty good price. I understand that Almond farmers pay around $200 per and large beekeepers bring in colonies from all over the country - more than a million colonies, but many of them are based in California I think. I also think there are lots in the Dakotas, but I could be wrong.
