I had to cut back significantly on my power lifting due to the toll it was taking on my body. Pound for pound I could stack up with most anyone here on the board. As a high school senior I weighed 158 lbs, squatted 517 and deadlifted 577.
25 years later my knees are still feeling it. Don’t dismiss it just because it hasn’t happened to you. But every body is different. Some can take it and others break down.
