compared to Oakland, it’s really not close. There’s probably 12 million people within a 2 hour radius of Oakland, massive corporate sponsorship opportunities, already a top five tv market, but when you factor in the other nor cal tv markets it crushes Las Vegas multiple times over.

LV has a decent population within a 30 mile radius, but outside of that there is absolutely nothing. The tv market is small relative it’s metro size. The corporate sponsorship base is limited.

I could possibly see Portland.

What they really should be doing is adding a third team to New York or Los Angeles or MLB should step in and let the a’s stay in the Bay Area and move to SJ
