Thx for sharing that. We lost our little buddy that literally saved the life
of a relative visiting that had a medical emergency. Lassie style heroics & he was only months old at the time. My grandpa wanted to take him for a walk, had a heart attack & went down unconscious on an isolated part of the bike trail. Augie ran to the neighborhood & starting scratching front doors until finally someone, a dog lover, realized something was up.

He followed augie to Grandpa. The guy was a fireman & Emt & didn’t bother with regular ambulance. Had his firehouse dispatch lifeflight immediately. Saved my Grandpas life. He would’ve been there awhile without being noticed. It was a rough process when Augie got cancer, but was the perfect dog until the very end.

I know some owners overdo it w their dogs & don’t consider common courtesies to others, but most behave appropriately. I can’t imagine not having a dog, just if people were more like dogs, ha
