Certain things must happen....even if it means you compromise. You have t tug at their passion, their emotions, while bringing heat with past performance and expected results if they meet your demands. Then, if they grant it and he fails, he’s the scapegoat. I understand the people he reports to....they’ve been wrong in the past and they need to see it and understand. But, maybe Tom needs to have a more difficult conversation first. What are their expectations for the program? What do they want with it as a missionary tool? They want everything g to be successful. But not their missions nary tool? Not buying unless they come oit and set expectations. Because of this is their plan, it’s terrible and failing. Unless they are okay burning down one of the most successful programs of the last 30-40 years. If so, then say it. LDS people and Non-LDS fans don’t accept failure.
