Yeah, I'll keep defending them to a certain degree. I think they played well enough for the O to win Toledo and USF.
If the O is anywhere near where they should be, we are up 20+ points in both games.
At that point both Toledo/USF be necessity are 1 dimensional and cannot run the ball because they are down by so many points.
The D certainly needs to take some blame and I don't think they are world-beaters, but they played "well enough" for a halfway decent O to win the games.

It does mean something though. You are assuming that even if BYU is up big against Toledo that Toledo continues
